Position: Class Teacher
Start date: September 2026
Salary: M1-M6

We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our team. This is a flexible role and you could be teaching in any year group across the school, depending on your strengths and experience. You will play a key role in creating a happy, engaging classroom where children feel supported, challenged and inspired to do their best.

We are looking for someone who loves teaching and is committed to helping every child succeed. You will be a caring and reflective practitioner who builds strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families. We value team players who are willing to share ideas, get involved in school life, and continue to develop their practice. Whether you are an ECT or an experienced teacher, we welcome your application.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or working towards it for ECTs)
  • Experience teaching within the primary phase (suitable for M1–M6 teachers)
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, inclusive and well-structured lessons
  • Commitment to high expectations and raising attainment for all pupils
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pupils, staff, and parents
  • A reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous professional development
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for teaching and learning
